Stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson won the best female and male performance awards (this is the third consecutive year for Stewart; the second for Pattinson.) The pair also took home the award for best kiss for the third year running, though Pattinson celebrated by running into the audience and kissing co-star Taylor Lautner.

Pattinson was clearly a fan-favorite this year as he also won for best fight with Bryce Dallas Howard. Though the 25-year-old actor did find himself in trouble while presenting the Generation Award to Water for Elephantsco-star Reese Witherspoon, whose son he played in 2004's Vanity Fair. He referred to playing her lover in last year's Elephants, usingan expletive that slipped past MTV's censors on the East Coast.

Eclipse, the third installment in the Twilightseries, won best movie, again beating Harry Potter. The only love the boy wizard film received was for Potter's nemesis: Tom Felton walked away with the best villain award for the second year running for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy. Potter did see a massive wealth of love from the audience after a new trailer for the eighth and final film debuted, introduced by star Emma Watson

America's new sweetheart, Emma Stone, walked away with best comedic performance for Easy A, about which host Jason Sudeikis joked was a Canadian film called Easy, Eh? where Stone played a prostitute. She also sang a naughty duet about romcom No Strings Attached with Sudeikis, who had written theme songs for several movies out this year.

Sudeikis hit the headlines early on in the show, taking as many cracks at Twilight as Arnold Schwarzenegger's recent news of fathering a child with a maid. "Evidentially he doesn't just pump iron, huh? Actually, keep an eye out for his next movie: Pumping the Ironer," he said.

The Saturday Night Livestar also went after Blake Lively, who hit the news last week when nude photos of a woman looking similar to the Gossip Girlstar leaked online. While introducing the Green Lantern duo, Sudeikis said, "Ryan Reynolds and someone that we believe is the real Blake Lively, though she won't confirm it."

Blake Lively's rep: Nude photos are fake

Even Witherspoon took a crack at Lively during her Generation Award acceptance speech: "When I came up in this business, if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it under your bed. If you took naked pictures of yourself on your cell phone, you hid your face!"
