Watercooler: Pretty Little Lovin' for Jason and Aria?

OK, what was that?Did y'all catch that business going on between Aria and Jason on last night's Pretty Little Liars? Yeah, the shirtless basketball — "I liked your pink hair" — meaningful glances exchange about halfway through the episode. That one.We knew there was gonna be ...

Oh, what a fast and furious ride this first season of The Voice has been, huh? The soaring songs, the judges' jabs... the cotton-candy rat's nest on Christina Aguilera's head. Good times. And now that Javier Colon has rightfully been crowned the inaugural winner, we'd like to look back at some of the vital life lessons we have picked up from the show over the last 10 weeks.

Anyone who watched The Nine Lives of Chloe King last night know that it's not all about our feline-gifted heroine. It's also about her swoon-worthy and so human honey, Brian — or as Friday Night Lights fans know him, Grey Damon. So we here at the Watercooler decided to toss a few to the Indiana native, who gave us some deets on his new ABC Family hit and what FNL would have tackled if it had gone longer. Oh, and for the record, the kid couldn't be nicer. Score one for the good guy!

If it really 'twas beauty that tamed the beast, then our Teen Wolf is in good hands with Crystal Reed. Last night, her bad-ass good girl Allison once again reminded us why Tyler Posey's Scott — and millions of MTV fans — are in heat over the show's central Romeo-Juliet sitch. So we here at the Watercooler thought it was a howl of a good time to talk to Reed about her hit show... and who might not make it through the next full moon...

So you know how Glee became a roaring mess in its second season? Well, The Glee Project has one upped the very show that spawned it by becoming just as tragic in only a handful of episodes. That's pretty ...

Last night, FX debuted Wilfred and either we're high, or this is the most audacious comedy on TV right now. Based on an Australian hit, this weirdly entertaining head-trip stars recovering Hobbit Elijah Wood as Ryan, a suicidal ex-lawyer who begins to see his neighbor's pet — the titular pooch, played by the Aussie original's Jason Gann — as a foul-mouthed pothead in a dollar-store dog costume. Hazy hilarity ensued...

She's mean, manipulative... and dead. But as fans could tell from last night's episode, Sasha Pieterse is having the time of her life playing Alison DiLaurentis. "It's so much fun!" the bubbly 15-year-old told the Watercooler during our visit to the Pretty Little Liars set, where we got to see her in all her mean-girl action. "She's the one you hate to love and love to hate. As much as she drives you crazy and tortures the hell out of you, there is something about her you like. There's an intrigue there. She's not mean all the time. "

Forget the plucked eyebrows and tucked candies. We can all learn something from RuPaul's Drag U. Kicking off its second season last night, the crazy campy confection from the cross-dressing queen of workin' it — hailed as a lesson in helping "biological women unleash their inner diva" — does more to promote acceptance than a Pride month-long marathon of "very special" Glee episodes...

Like the soaps don't have it bad enough, they can't even get an awards show that actually pays attention to them?Last night, the Daytime Emmys happened in Vegas and the damn thing was more travelogue and tear-jerking PSA than tribute to the medium! Between the over-produced shout-outs to the casinos, hotels ...

Just when you thought it was safe to go to a kiddie pageant... Last night, the reason we need Child Protective Services returned to once again remind the world that terrible parents come in all shapes and sizes. Granted, Toddlers & Tiaras, the look inside the world of weird pre-pubescent beauty competitions, has always been...

Hello, kitty! ABC Family let its cat-powered new teen drama out of the bag last night and from the fun, fast-paced pilot, we're inclined to say that Pretty Little Liars (which kicked off its second season in killer style an hour earlier) has quite the fitting companion piece. It's not PLL-level addictive yet, but it's far from a runt. Starring the immensely charismatic Skyler Samuels, Nine Lives of Chloe King tells the tail, er, tale of a quirky teen who...

It's the most wonderful time of the year! When hot, fit men turn into sniping, needy freaks who run to any camera they can find to trash each other. That's right... it's The Bachelorette jock block! However, as opposed to seasons past, the guys combined their powers of spite to single out a lone victim last night — handsome, happy, painfully attractive Ryan P. — instead of turning against each other willy-nilly. And once our dim ...

Murder! Mean girls! Romance! The Liars are back and prettier than ever. But ABC Family's hottest drama ain't so little anymore. Thanks to mondo ratings and the crazy chemistry of stars Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell — not to mention some killer twists — the ladies of Rosewood have returned with bigger secrets, bolder story lines and enough addictive drama to have even the mysterious "A" saying OMG! Here's why Pretty Little Liars has gotten us — and millions of other fans — hopelessly hooked. The Plots Are ThickeningPicking up...

Let's face it, some reality-show judges are sweet, others are sour. And Bobby Flay? That dude is savory.Last night, the Food Network Star host and main judge brought another serving of ...

Midnight at the oasis? More like welcome to Thunderdome. The Real Housewives of New York City's Moroccan holiday continued to go south last night when the bad blood between Jill Zarin and Ramona Singer — which hit its boiling point at the end of last week's episode — threatened to splash all over the rest of the posse. And we weren't the only ones talking about it...

White Collar returned last night for its third season and, lord, they didn't waste any time getting right back into the action, huh? So, since we lovelovelove USA's crafty con drama and what is being set up with this Nazi treasure mystery, the Watercooler has decided to devote today's column to a chat with star Matt Bomer about what's coming up and why Neal may not be such a good guy after all. (But shhh, don't tell Peter!)

Who said that soap operas are dead? Sure, maybe Katie Couric's new talk show will be the final nail for General Hospital, and yeah, the rest of ABC's daytime slate has a shorter shelf life than a week-old gallon of milk. But there are still soapy stories out there to be told... you just have to know where to look for them. Like the cable news networks. Or Anthony Weiner's boxer briefs...

Now this is how you reboot a classic, kids.Last night, MTV debuted Teen Wolf, its new take on the Michael J. Fox flick about a pubescent dog-boy, and gave it a whole new leash on life.Wisely, they did so by going more bite-and-fright than tongue-in-cheek, infusing this ...

Forget finding a celebrity apprentice. According to Jon Stewart (and let's face it, a lot of other people) Donald Trump needs to find a clue.Last night, The Daily Show host devoted almost nine minutes to eviscerating the Donald for his latest public bungle and ...

Welcome to that time in warm-weather TV when there's not much new and even less scripted. Call it the Late-Spring Reality Twilight Zone. And call us when it's over. Last night, the pickings were majorly meager, for sure, as ABC served up a prime time NBA game-day episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, while NBC gave us a double-shot of competition with the launch of America's Got Talent and the last battle round on The Voice...

Oh Ashley, you poor, silly pretty girl.Last night, The Bachelorette spent her second episode pretty much making sure that we all saw how clueless she is when it comes to guys. It's kind ...

He's the bad boy, she's by the book. But when you put two of cable's sexiest stars together for a photo shoot, a funny thing happens. After shaking off the sand and scrubbing off their sun-kissed makeup, Matt Bomer, who plays White Collar's swoonworthy con man Neal Caffrey, and Piper Perabo, the Golden Globe-nominated knockout behind Covert Affairs' CIA rookie Annie Walker, chill out at a café on New York's Chelsea Piers. When not dropping hints about their season premieres this week — Collar returns with our beloved Neal-Peter bromance on the rocks, and Affairs finds Annie protecting a CIA ally just as strong-willed as she is — the two laugh it up about love interests, filming on location and their perfect idea for a crossover episode. Hot and hilarious? Talk about an explosive combo...
