Conan O'Brien tweeted after his defunct version of The Tonight Show nabbed a nomination for comedy/variety series instead of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno: "Congrats to my staff on 4 Emmy nominations. This bodes well for the future of The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien."

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who received a best-actress nomination for The New Adventures of Old Christine, which has been canceled: "I was relieved to see that the academy spelled my name right and, as I am now a free agent, LeBron [James] and I will be announcing our plans later this evening."
