Nominees React to Getting Emmy Nods

Some celebrities just couldn't resist cracking wise upon learning of their Emmy nominations. Amidst it all, though, there was gratitude...

Conan O'Brien tweeted after his defunct version of The Tonight Show nabbed a nomination for comedy/variety series instead of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno: "Congrats to my staff on 4 Emmy nominations. This bodes well for the future of The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien."

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who received a best-actress nomination for The New Adventures of Old Christine, which has been canceled: "I was relieved to see that the academy spelled my name right and, as I am now a free agent, LeBron [James] and I will be announcing our plans later this evening."

Tina Fey, who again snagged a nod for lead actress in a comedy series for 30 Rock: "This is great and exciting news.  Also, this seems like an appropriate time for me to announce to NBC that I will not be renewing my contract... with my gym."

Jane Krakowski, a supporting actress nominee for 30 Rock: "I am going to celebrate by eating a piece of cheese. Just kidding designers, I promise, no cheese will cross these lips or hips until after the ceremony."
