Farewell to Shadowhunters: Kat McNamara Reveals Emotional Moment Filming Her Final Scene

Welcome back to Farewell to Shadowhunters, TV Guide's celebration of the final run of Freeform's supernaturally addictive fantasy series!

Clary (Katherine McNamara) might have finally found her way back to the Institute and into Jace's (Dominic Sherwood) arms, but that doesn't mean the threat of her creepily incestuous brother, Jonathan (Luke Baines), isn't still hanging over her head. Kat McNamara sat down with us to dish on that Clace date gone wrong and just why Clary wasn't able to strike out against her brother when it really counted. Could a dark turn be on the horizon for her?

As for saying farewell to the show, McNamara had some beautiful things to say about Shadowhunters' passionate fandom and the message of inclusivity and heroism they've managed to embrace and take to heart. She also dished about filming her incredibly emotional final scene of the series, so prepare for some tears, because no one makes you feel things like Kat McNamara makes you feel things.
