Another Crain family favorite is joining The Haunting of Bly Manor.

Mike Flanagan, the creator of the Netflix anthology series, announced on Wednesday that another member of The Haunting of Hill House's cast will join the roster for Season 2. Henry Thomas, who portrayed the younger version of Hugh Crain, who lived in the title house during the family's deadly brush with the paranormal (and/or psychosis), is set to return.

Thomas is the third Hill House alum to join the cast so far, following Victoria Pedretti's (Nell Crain) announcement as the Governess and Oliver Jackson-Cohen's (Luke Crain) casting as Peter. Hill House's Carla Gugino has also hinted that she may come back for Season 2.

Everything We Know About The Haunting of Bly Manor So Far

Bly Manor will be based upon Henry James' classic novella The Turn of the Screw, and Flanagan has boasted that the new season will be "much scarier" than the first. Flanagan told Birth.Movies.Death, "For Henry James fans, it's going to be pretty wild, and for people who aren't familiar with his work, it's going to be unbelievably scary."

The Haunting of Bly Manor is expected to premiere on Netflix in 2020. The Haunting of Hill House is available to stream now.
