Lena Dunham Slams Shia LeBeouf on Twitter: "Only Sociopaths Hire Skywriters"

Lena Dunham is the latest celeb to be bothered by Shia LeBeouf's outlandish sky-writing apology. A few weeks after  LeBeouf apologized for plagiarizing his 2012 short film HowardCantour.com from Daniel Clowes' comic Justin M. Damiano, the actor hired a plane to write "I Am Sorry Daniel Clowes" in the sky over Los Angeles. A few days later, Dunham tweeted, "I've always felt, utterly and unchangeably, that only sociopaths hire skywriters."

Shia LaBeouf skywrites another apology to Daniel Clowes

LeBeouf was quick to respond. "I don't mind creating debate with thoroughly considered artistic expressions but I don't want to offend with a tweet. Sorry world," he tweeted.  "Im addicted to lean & that sh-t ain't no joke. I can barely remember all the things I've done & said. However there's no excuse 4 skywriting," he added.

The banter soon continued as Dunham tweeted, "Vaguely recognized Shia Labeouf's latest twitter apology and realized it was MINE! Touché, Louis Stevens" referring to his former Disney Channel character. She then wrote, ""Projecting a lot of rage against my 7th grade boyfriend on LaBeouf. Think this is the start of something really productive #2014."

LeBeouf seemed to take it all somewhat in stride by retweeting Dunham's comments as well as some from Patton Oswalt.

"Not easy to pull off crazy AND moronic, but you did it, Shia LaBeouf. Sheer a--holery ahead: http://bcool.bz/19LiIOH ," Oswalt tweeted beforeadding, "Dear Shia LaBeouf (@thecampaignbook): If you're gonna be that dumb, delusional AND boring when you speak, just go ahead and plagiarize."
