The 36-year-old actress made the revelation in an interview for Good Morning America that aired Tuesday. "I'm clear," Applegate said. "Absolutely 100 percent clear and clean.... They got everything out so I'm definitely not going to die from breast cancer."
Though cancerous lumps were discovered in only one breast, Applegate opted for a prophylactic double mastectomy, to ensure that all traces were excised.
