
A-listers reigned supreme at the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards Wednesday night at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
The Dark Knight continued to make an impact this award season by nabbing five trophies, including Favorite Movie and Favorite Action Movie. Batman himself, Christian Bale, was named Favorite Superhero and was also recognized, along with the late Heath Ledger, in the Favorite On-Screen Match-up category.
Also awarded in the film categories were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who were missing in action from the ceremony. Pitt was named Favorite Leading Man, while Jolie was voted Favorite Female Action star.
Will Smith was a double winner, nabbing Favorite Male Movie Star and Favorite Male Action Star, while Reese Witherspoon was named Favorite Female Movie Star.

After seeing her doctor, Christina Applegate "just knew" she was going to be diagnosed with breast cancer, the actress shared on Tuesday's episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show."I just knew. I went home and they called me and... [said] 'It came back positive,'" she said.
