Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Are Engaged

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are finally tying the knot.

"Yes, it's confirmed," Pitt's manager told People of the couple's engagement. "It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy. There's no date set at this time."

Jolie was photographed Wednesday sporting a large diamond engagement ring, which was designed by jeweler Robert Procop.

"I can confirm that, yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt," Procop's rep told The Hollywood Reporter. "Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration. ... Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality."

Earlier this year, Pitt, 48, told THR that he and Jolie, 36, have thought about marriage. "We'd actually like to [get married] and it seems to mean more and more to our kids," Pitt said.

The couple have been dating for nearly seven years after meeting on the set of 2005's Mr. and Mrs. Smith. They have six children together: Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 5, and 3-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Pitt was previously married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005. Jolie was married to Jonny Lee Miller from 1996 to 1999 and to Billy Bob Thornton from 2000 to 2003.
