Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin Welcome Baby Girl

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin have welcomed their first child together, USA Todayreports.

"Morena and Ben are so happy to welcome baby girl Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan on March 2," their reps said in a statement. "All are happy and healthy and appreciate the well-wishes."

This is the first child for the 37-year-old McKenzie, whose real last name is Schenkkan, and the second for Baccarin, 36. The Deadpool actress is already mother to a 2-year-old son, Julius, with her estranged husband, Austin Chick.

Chick filed for divorce from Baccarin in June after four years of marriage. Baccarin says she became pregnant shortly after that, but Chick alleges the baby was conceived while they were still together. Baccarin originally revealed she was expecting McKenzie's baby during divorce proceedings, as part of a plea to get Julius to live with her in New York. In the court documents, she also revealed she plans to marry McKenzie as soon as her contentious divorce to Chick is finalized.
