As the premiere of American Horror Story: Apocalypsedraws closer, FX is revealing more and more secrets; it's like we almost have a clue what's going on!

The official trailer for the new season was released Wednesday, and Sarah Paulson is front and center as the leader of Outpost 3, the safe house where this season's cast retreats after the beginning of the apocalypse. However, is the risk of radiation contamination really worse than being locked in a mysterious house with the devil? Michael Langdon (Cody Fern) is present and ready to start wreaking havoc in the closing moments of the trailer.

There are also plane crashes, zombies and even Harrison Wilton (Billy Eichner) trapped in Santa Monica as the world comes burning down. What's most surprising, though, is that the trailer contains almost all new footage and not the stuff we saw in the the teaser trailer that was released on Tuesday.

The teaser actually revealed our first look at Michael. Check out those dead eyes in the scenes right at the start of the teaser! The teaser also showed us Evan Peters in his new "comedic" hairdresser role. After he suggests that maybe it's time to eat someone, though, we think he's still going to creep us out this season. Some things never change.

Another quick flash revealed Cordelia walking with Madison (Emma Roberts) and Myrtle (Frances Conroy). We thought it would take hell freezing over for Cordelia to work with Madison, but this is the apocalypse, so desperate times call for strange partnerships, apparently.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse premieres Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 10/9c on FX.
