Young and Dangerous Reviews

This no-name flaming-youth film of the 1950s deals with the coming of age of one-time delinquent Damon. Interested only in souped-up cars, juvenile scraps, and scoring with girls, Damon has to modify his lifestyle when he puts the make on the aptly named Gentle. Their first date lands them both in a police station, a circumstance that causes her parents, Greer and Doran, to forbid her to see the lusty lad again. This injunction, naturally, spurs their youthful resolve to meet secretly. As the teenage terror discusses his problems with the empathic Gentle, his character changes.
