A satisfying outdoor picture in which Cameron starts an iron-ore mine in Minnesota over the objections of Hussey's family, who are already entrenched in the area and don't want any competition. When Cameron can't be bullied off his property, Hussey tries to charm him into marriage. Blindly, Cameron falls for her trick, jilting his true love, Storm. He finally wakes up long enough to see that Hussey is just digging her claws into his wealth. Banker Naish shoots Hussey, paving the way for an embrace between Cameron and Storm. Includes two traditional folk songs, "Blue-Tail Fly" and "Erie Canal."
