Woman Against Woman Reviews

The female-bedeviled Marshall is hectored mercilessly by his coven of crones in this clever high-society divorce drama. Bride Bruce and ex-wife Astor squabble over the hapless husband like two dogs battling over a bone, while neighboring harridans gossip about the prospective outcome of the verbal duel. Finding that his stoical forbearance gains him no respite from his tormentors, Marshall finally puts his foot down and gains a measure of self-respect in this epic of male liberation. Essentially stagy, the dialog-heavy drama was the directorial debut (in film) of theatrical director Sinclair.
