Wolf Call Reviews

One of many dog sagas based on Jack London themes, this has the canine running wild with wolves between bouts of helping Carroll fulfill the assignment given him by his father. Carroll heads north with his faithful pooch to discover whether a pitchblende mine is worth keeping in the family holdings. Once there, the city-bred dog finds some she-wolves in heat, and Carroll discovers Indian girl Movita, who seems somewhat seasonal herself. Mine manager Oakman proves to have been concealing the true richness of the deposit when Carroll flies some samples out for independent tests. Grey Shadow and his vulpine friends do some vocalizing, as do Carroll and Movita.
