Wings for the Eagle Reviews

An enjoyable and informative melodrama that glorifies the work of those who made the planes that flew during WW II. Morgan is a young mechanic at Lockheed Aircraft who, despite being an out-and-out draft dodger, becomes one of the top servicemen after the Pearl Harbor attack. The plot's romantic angle comes when Morgan and coworker Carson find themselves in competition for the wisecracking, down-to-earth Sheridan. The kind of film that makes one want to work in an airplane factory.
