Whispering Footsteps Reviews

Bank clerk Hubbard spends a humble vacation in Indianapolis and returns home to the excitement of his Ohio boarding house. He hears a radio report about a girl found murdered in Indianapolis and a description of the killer. He, of course, fits the bill and is quickly looked upon with suspicion. The deaths of a couple of more girls implicate him even further, weakening his alibi with each death. Everyone turns against him, firmly convinced that he is the murderer--perhaps the victim of some Jekyll and Hyde complex. His credibility hits bottom when another murder is committed, but before any action can be taken against him, the real killer confesses. A compelling crime thriller which keeps one guessing until the end.
