Another of the "we don't need a theater, kids" potpourris, in which Universal showcases some of its younger talents, blending them with established musical stars. The slender story line has to do with the efforts of a number of young hopefuls who try to make it big in radio. Songs and musical numbers include "What To Do" (Sid Robin, sung by The Andrews Sisters), "Blue Flame" (James Noble, played by Woody Herman and His Orchestra), "Woodchopper's Ball" (Joe Bishop, Herman, played by Herman and His Orchestra), "I'll Pray for You" (Arthur Altman, Kim Gannon, sung by Gloria Jean, The Andrews Sisters, Jane Frazee), "Amen (Yea-Man)" (Roger Segure, Bill Hardy, Vic Schoen, played by Herman and His Orchestra), "You Can't Hold a Memory in Your Arms" (Hy Zaret, Altman, sung by Frazee), "If," and "Love Laughs at Anything" (Don Raye, Gene De Paul).
