West of the Brazos Reviews

Ellison and Hayden are cast as Shamrock and Lucky, a duo of Irish cowboys who saddle up in the West. They show up on a ranch which has been willed to them only to find it occupied by a deceptive Cason. Unknown to them, but known to Cason, the ranch sits on a field of black gold, and Cason is just waiting to get rid of the Irish lads before he puts up his oil rigs. Justice is soon served, however, and Ellison and Hayden get what's rightfully theirs. The first in a series that was supposed to last five years at six pictures per annum. Lippert instead made the first six in a one-month period, and the film's production quality looks it. The film does, however, benefit from some natural acting performances from the leads.
