Denny and Marsh are husband- and wife-to-be who never make it to the altar because of some senseless comedy antics involving the bride's formerly wealthy family. The Depression-era family is too concerned with scraping together $25,000 for a stock market gamble to pay much attention to a wedding. Nothing is credible here, especially the polo-playing grandmother, Oliver, and the end result is annoying.
