In this western, a young cowboy rides out to avenge his father's killer. Eventually, he finds the scoundrel, but by this time opts not to kill him for the cowboy has fallen in love with the outlaw's niece. Later, the killer ends up killed and the hero is blamed for the crime.

A supposed adaptation of the Zane Grey novel of the same title, this bears no resemblance to the book or the two films already based on it. Warren plays the young hero on a vendetta to find the killer of his father. When he finally tracks down the dirty dog, he opts not to kill him because he has fallen in love with the bad man's niece, Long. As luck would have it, the villain is killed anyway, and Warren is blamed. In the end, Warren clears his name and gets the girl.
