This poorly conceived drama stars Brook as a man who is obsessed with a doll. The doll belonged to his son, the illegitimate child of his union with Hylton, a woman he murdered after she sold their son for adoption. When the doll temporarily leaves his possession, his attempts to retrieve it eventually lead to his admission of the earlier murder. This film proves that grown men should not play with dolls.
