A family melodrama that spans three generations has Irving and Purdell as two stage stars at the turn of the century who decide to become business partners and open up a music hall. The place is a success, but WW I arrives and Irving's son is killed in an dogfight. After the war, the popularity of the music hall dwindles, and things look grim until Irving's grandson decides to resurrect the music hall and joins the RAF when WW II breaks out. Sentimental treatment of a family dynasty padded with many popular stage acts of the day.
