Tucson Reviews

Lydon, a student at the University of Arizona, prefers training his horse for a college rodeo to doing his homework. His father, Sawyer, wants him to win so he can show up rival rancher Sande. But Lydon's apathetic attitude in the classroom catches up with him when he nearly blinds a student in chemistry class. This forces him to take a second look at his priorities. He buckles down with the books but manages to win the rodeo in the end. Routine material and a cast that clearly is bored with what they're doing, plus a predictable script and standard direction, doesn't add up to much.
