When three vaudeville troupers are bounced from the theatrical trade, they decide to become troopers of a different nature. Lease, the romantic lead, is aided by the comedy team of Karns and Summerville as they go through various misadventures when they join the army. Gulliver is the romantic opposite for Lease, causing for Lease some jealousy-sparked moments with a superior officer. There are some snappy moments of cornball comedy, but this feature is hurt by poor editing toward the finale, apparently done to keep the film at short, program-filler running time.
