Three the Hard Way Reviews

An all-star blaxploitation cast--Brown, Williamson, and Kelly--star in this well-directed action film. The hard-hitting trio work together in stopping a fascist, all-white sect that is bent on ridding Los Angeles, Detroit, and Washington of their black population. Their method is to pollute the water supply with a drug that affects only blacks. Far-fetched and a bit comic-bookish, but filled with all you'd want from the genre and then some. One of two pictures Lucien Ballard shot for Parks, Jr., at the end of his long career, which began with Sternberg in 1934. The other Parks-Ballard collaboration was THOMASINE AND BUSHROD (1974).
