They Came from Beyond Space Reviews

Aliens invade Earth in order to gain assistance in repairing their ship that has crashed on the moon. They accomplish this by taking over people's minds, then sending them to work as virtual slaves. But Hutton remains immune to this treatment because of the metal disk in his head. Being the responsible scientist he is, he goes about sorting out the mess, taking a spaceship to the moon and convincing the invaders that a more democratic means of fixing their ship can be achieved. A real disappointment that takes a good book, The Gods Hate Kansas, and does a horrid job of translating it to the screen. A bit more effort in the effects and direction departments could have salvaged things.
