The Westland Case Reviews

With an innocent man heading for the electric chair, detective Foster is called in to solve the case before it's too late. The case itself is a tough one--a girl is killed in a room which has all the windows and doors locked from the inside--but not too tough for Foster. Unfortunately, the story is a bit muddled and often forgets to fill the audience in on the evidence Foster is gathering, leaving a hole yards wide in the interest area. In 1938, Foster starred in two more films as Bill Crane, LADY IN THE MORGUE and THE LAST WARNING.
