The Story of Shirley Yorke Reviews

When a lord's invalid wife dies after receiving a special treatment developed by doctor Robinson and administered by nurse Sheridan, the nurse immediately comes under suspicion for murder because the lord had once been romantically involved with her. She is soon arrested and tried for murder based on evidence provided by Scott's friend Couper. Eventually Robinson proves that Couper killed the Lord's wife and clears his nurse's name. Released in 1952 with 16 minutes cut, some prints may still circulate.
