The Shannons of Broadway Reviews

The Gleasons, in the film rendition of their Broadway musical, are a couple of goodhearted country bumpkins trying to make a go of it on the vaudeville circuit. But they meet with rejection and settle down to life as hotel owners. They are quickly back on the stage, however, when they strike it big in real estate and are able to produce their own show. Sets and other aspects of production can't compare to Broadway staging, but the Gleasons managed enough laughs and musical routines to keep it hopping.
