The Shadow of the Cat Reviews

Morell plays the conniving husband of wealthy Lacey. He and the servants want a slice of her money, so they kill her and hide the body, which is all witnessed by her pet cat. Seeing the murderous act transforms the cat into a vicious animal. The members of the guilty group decide to kill it, but the crafty feline sets out to do them all in. Morell panics and persuades his niece, Shelley, that both the cat and Ella's will must be done away with. But soon afterward Morell is stricken by a heart attack, literally scared to death by the cat. The pretty kitty then leads the innocent Shelley and her boy friend to the body of its previous owner. All three enjoy the benefits of Lacey's money.
