Mason is the detective son of Scotland Yard inspector McLeod, and both are assigned to the same case. An English lord's daughter has been kidnaped, and father and son each race to be the one to save the girl without paying the ransom. A dull mystery burdened with too much dialog. Based on a novel in the Mick Cardby detective series, the film was made in 1941 but went unreleased during the war. It was distributed in America four years later.
