The Panther's Claw Reviews

There's murder in an opera company, and Blackmer's out to solve the case. Assisted by Vallin, he investigates and meets Edwards, playing a drunken baritone, Rozan as a beautiful singer, and Foulger as the opera company's wigmaker and focal point of this tightly controlled, better-than-average mystery. It's well-acted with some realistic dialog and sequences. The direction shows a good feel for mystery and suspense with its brisk pace.
