Eisley, an American circus manager, treks to Africa to capture a 50-ton gorilla for show under the big top. He and his expedition are about to be sacrificed by a native tribe when Gorga causes a disruption. The members of the expedition escape to a nearby cave, where they unearth a fortune in jewels. The big gorilla survives, a couple of greedy expedition members are killed, and the survivors return to US soil. Only the Empire State Building and some semblance of talent are missing from this movie.
