A boxer's career is threatened by booze and a socialite. Richard Arlen, Olga Baclanova, Mary Brian, Harry Green. William A. Wellman directed.
Richard Arlen takes to the ring as Dum-Dum Brooks, a small-town boxer who, accompanied by his wife (Mary Brian), heads to Manhattan, where he batters the champ in an exhibition bout. Before the film is over, he gets a real shot at the title, and don't bet that he blows it.
