Dove and La Rocque are two young, wealthy adults who decide to get married to escape from their problems. Dove wants to get rid of her guardian, and La Rocque wants to ditch the gold-digging blonde who is after him. They go through the ceremony and then they spend their wedding night on a yacht. Dove disappears the next day through a porthole, with the blonde following her on the yacht and planning to ruin her reputation. Chase after chase with cars and planes, and finally Dove and La Rocque end up staying together for good.
