Pearce runs a print shop in a small town and has the ability to read minds due to a fortuitous blow on the head. Young, the head of a publishing firm, gets involved with ex-showgirl Mara, who is in cahoots with Mowbray, a fake mind-reader. Evans, an associate of Young, wants the presidency of the company, and with Mara's and Mowbray's aid, he blackmails Young. Pearce exposes the criminals before any damage can be done. A modest effort which gives then-popular radio star Pearce a chance to do some film work.
