The Lone Ranger Reviews

After over a decade of playing the masked hero on TV and radio, Moore made the leap to the big screen with his trusty Indian companion, Silverheels, by his side. Aimed particularly at children, this film shows Moore more energetic than ever as he investigates a series of Indian uprisings. What looks like treaty-breaking by the Indians, however, is really a scheme by a greedy rancher (Bettger) who wants to mine silver on Indian land. But the mountain Bettger wants to mine is sacred to the Indians. Moore and Silverheels uncover the plot and restore peace between the Indians and the whites. Of course, the end has Moore and Silverheels riding off into the sunset with the Lone Ranger crying, "Hi-ho Silver!"
