The Last Express Reviews

This standard detective piece is perplexing enough to keep the audience guessing. Taylor, with his pal Brodie, is hired to investigate the murder of a prosecuting attorney who had been appointed to rid New York of its hoods. The two private detectives uncover ties between the crime cartel and city hall, get in trouble with the mob, and are arrested. The script is taut and suspense rules throughout. Several interesting sequences are shot in the New York subway system.
