The Lady Lies Reviews

Huston plays a wealthy widower who falls for Colbert, a woman of the lower classes. This creates havoc in his household when his two children, Deering and Brown, fear she is only after his money and come up with several plans to stop the affair. The play has been excellently brought to the screen through the direction of Henley and further aided by superior performances from the entire cast, especially Colbert and Ruggles.
