The H-Man Reviews

A man is exposed to radiationand becomes a transparent, liquid creature called the H-Man. He takes up residence in the Tokyo sewer system, and appears to be out for revenge against a group of gangsters, lurking around a seedy, mob-owned strip club and picking off unwary thugs. The H-Man can ooze through sewer grates, up walls and under doors to attack people, running up their bodies and melting their flesh away; all that's left is their clothing. A subplot involving a narcotics ring is soon reduced to mush, but when the blob begins to reproduce the result is sheer havoc. The blobs are ultimately destroyed in a fire that lights up the city. This is probably director Honda's best film after GODZILLA, and the first-rate special effects are genuinely eerie.
