In this sentimental drama, Currie, a retired electroplater, is forced to move in with his son. His daughter-in-law threatens to leave unless the old man is institutionalized. At one point Currie wanders off into the night, but his little grandson follows him and brings him back. Finally Currie solves a problem in a smelting vat at his old plant and in gratitude they give him a job as timekeeper.
