The Devil's Messenger Reviews

A little known Chaney, Jr., film compiled from three episodes of a Swedish television series called "No. 13 Demon St." Chaney plays the Devil, and the film opens as a new arrival, Kadler, enters Hell after committing suicide over a ruined romance. Chaney drafts the beautiful woman to help him seduce new recruits from the surface. The first is a New York photographer who kills one of his models after using a "special" camera given to him by Kadler. The next is an anthropologist who is given a new pickax by the emissary from hell, which he uses to free a beautiful young woman who was frozen in the ice a million years ago. Desperate to be united with his love he melts the ice that entombs her, and she drowns. The third victim is the man Kadler committed suicide over; she kills him. Together they descend to hell, and Chaney gives them the formula to the atomic bomb, which they then deliver to the humans. Soon the foolish surface people destroy the Earth with the information, filling hell to overflowing.
