Well-done Hammer swashbuckler that finally saw long-time studio regular Lee get a star billing. Lee plays a ruthless pirate who steers his vessel into criminal activity in 1588 after the Spanish Armada's defeat by Sir Francis Drake. The cutthroats invade a small English coastal town and terrorize the residents until Warren jumps ship and helps organize the villagers to revolt against the pirate's evil rule.
