Mad doctor Van Eyck preserves the living brain of a cruel and ruthless tycoon after a plane crash takes the businessman's life. The bottled brain takes over the obsessed doctor's mind and uses him to discover who arranged the plane accident. The daughter of the dead man, Heywood, gets involved, adding to this third film version of Siodmak's DONOVAN'S BRAIN.
