The Blazing Sun Reviews

Somewhat strange Autry oater that seems to be set in a time-warp. The standard western story line is normal, but modern devices such as automobiles and shortwave radio transmitters become very important to the plot, which would seem to suggest that the action takes place circa 1950 instead of 1880. The plot concerns Autry's efforts to capture two bank robbers who have been working the territory. The film's climax takes place on a runaway train, pitting Autry against villain Duncan, who gets his just desserts. Well paced and fairly interesting. Autry sings "Along the Navajo Trail" and "Brush Those Tears from Your Eyes."
