Some deranged casting agent decided to put ZaSu Pitts and Rocky Graziano in the same movie, but somehow it all makes sense. Clanton is the orphaned son of millionaires who is taken care of by his aunt Pitts and her bodyguard Graziano. His mind gets taken over by rock 'n' roll; he cuts his own record and gets it played on the family-owned radio station. Next thing you know people everywhere are on their feet, dancing to the beat. Clanton's big tune is his own "Green Light," while other performers such as Chubby Checker, Dion, and Jackie Wilson appear. Some sequences were filmed in Musicolor, which looks simply like tinted gels.
