Summer Love Reviews

Aimed solely at providing some musical entertainment to the bobbing teenagers of the late 1950s, this sequel to ROCK PRETTY BABY brings in pretty much the same cast, up to their usual antics of teenage romances and having fun. Saxon stars as the head of a music group which gets a job at a summer camp. This makes for some tough going for Saxon when he finds himself the love object of two very pretty girls, Meredith and St. John. Poet-songster McKuen's soul-searching, self-involved verses made him a minor guru to the young university intelligentsia in later years. Seven songs include: "Summer Love" and "To Know You Is to Love You" (Henry Mancini, Bill Carey).
