Spy in the Sky Reviews

Vienna is the setting for a competition between Russian and American spies trying to track down Tiemeyer, a German scientist who had been working on the Soviet space program before making a dash for freedom. The American agent Brodie wins out, which comes as a surprise because he is presented more as a bungler than as a highly efficient secret agent. His biggest problem seems to be in overcoming his amorous affairs. The camerawork, with its preponderance of closeups, seems to indicate that this film was made with television distribution in mind. Locations in Holland stand in for the Austrian capital, and a number of Dutch personnel were used in the production.
