Colorful, energetic musical numbers set against the glorious backdrop of Paris barely compensate for an empty, unimaginative script. SO THIS IS PARIS follows the escapades of three sailors on leave who fall for three Parisian girls. They all have a good time, sing and dance, and finally stage a benefit for a few orphans. You've seen it all before, but with different songs. This one includes: "So This Is Paris," "Two of Us," "A Dame's a Dame," "Three Bons Vivants," "If You Want to Be Famous," "Looking for Someone to Love," "If You Were There," "Wait Till Paris Sees Us" (Pony Sherrell, Phil Moody), and "I Can't Give You Anything But Love" (Jimmy McHugh, Dorothy Fields, sung by De Haven).
